Since the early existence of mankind, there was obviously a need for something to sit on. The first humans were sitting on rocks or on the ground, sometimes covered with large leaves to keep warm and comfortable. That was until the ancient Greeks, the "chair" came into existence. The president comes from the Latin word cathedra. Chairs in those days was certainly a meaningful unit. Chairs surround us everywhere in all shapes and sizes. However, traditional chairs never considered a trivial item.
The ancient Egyptians are known to create more ornate and detailed the chairs for their kings and queens. Egyptian chairs were originally initiated, such as furniture, which was common for rich and poor. At the time of the second dynasty, chairs the Royal Workshop begins elegantly inlaid with colored stones and covered with ebony and ivory, while others have been incorporated into pieces of wood color in the early models. In the end, the chairs Egypt developed highly complex forms that require the utmost skill and craftsmanship of the design and construction.
The Greeks were not far behind, skip directly to the trust four strong legs and eventually evolve klismos arty. The klismos was light and elegant chairs with legs bent and curved back rails to fit with a narrow curved backrest them. These klismos was quickly adapted by the Romans and spread to almost all areas they conquered. The Romans had their own brand of chairs as well: There was Sella, general chairmen, the Lectica, a portable bed-like seat used to transport people they curule chairs, folding chairs brought to the Coliseum, such as senators, and last but certainly not least there bisellium, who was the chair occupied by the Emperor during games at the Coliseum.
Chairs had become a common market, the mid-17 th century, largely due to the Renaissance. It took another century for carpenters to realize that the chairs would be good to look good and feel good to sit. This concept gave birth to a chair generation of designers, which eventually led to a gradual shift towards the chairs, as we know it today. The French have had a major impact on the development of the chairs as we know them. French craftsmen and designers were the first to produce the pioneers of modern light and comfortable chairs. Their designs inspired by the new race seats. Outdoor display previously used only in the dining room and desk, the new ideas brought forward chairs of different heights, arm chairs, rocking chairs, sleeping chairs, and many more.By of 18 th century, when the chairs were still hand-shaped, the curves are increasingly added to the models
This great income and resources for any curved shape was carved from a block of solid wood: designing more curves, more wood was needed. Since the president had become a common commodity, we began to change styles from time to time to stay in the same league as the rest of the world.
While the 19th century saw a revival of the former president of design time, the 20th century brought forth the massive use of technology in chair construction and design. Emphasis was shifted to the production of ergonomic chairs and use of materials other than wood, to increase the diversity and reduce the excessive use of wood. New types of chairs has come to be considered: metal folding chairs, bean bag chairs, plastic chairs. New forms were introduced such as the Butterfly chair. Leather chairs and a polymer came to be seen in every nook and cranny. As technology has advanced again, got it built into the seats to form adjustable chairs, sofas, which can turn into bed with the push of a button, wheelchairs and many other automated innovations. It is a undeniable fact that the chairs are an important part of our lives
Whatever we do, trust is a necessity if we are studying, working, eating, resting or just short of storage space that each chair is perhaps not as enjoyable as it may seem at first glance, the President is the place where it is here to stay and search for the most comfortable chair is still in progress.
